This afternoon the Maryland Sierra Club, a leading environmental advocacy organization, announced that they are supporting Saqib’s candidacy for Maryland State Senate. The Sierra Club now joins the Maryland League of Conservation Voters as the second environmentalist organization to back Saqib’s campaign. Their endorsement demonstrates that Saqib is the only candidate in this race who can be counted on to fight for a cleaner, greener Maryland.
